How long are the lessons?

the classes are 45 minutes each. Master class and Big Kids are 1 hour.

 

there are 10 weeks in the Fall, Winter and Spring sessions and 6 weeks in the summer session. Our mini December session is only three weeks long.

 

there is normally a maximum of 12 children enrolled in each class. Occasionally there may be one or two extra families doing a preview or making up a missed class. Each child or set of siblings is accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

 

you can make up any missed classes by coming to another class that week or any other week in the session in any of our Tri-Valley locations. You must schedule the make-up in advance and we now provide an online make-up scheduler .Make-up classes cannot be carried on to another semester. You can do only up to 3 make-ups in any one semester.

our Mixed age classes are designed for newborns through the 5th birthday. Exceptions to this age range can be arranged. Please call or email the director Rowena Morgan if you have a question.

Big Kids classes are for ages 5-7 years only. Very occasionally exceptions can be made to this age range. Please call or email the director Rowena Morgan if you have a question.

in some semesters babies class for 8 months and under at the beginning of a semester can choose between attending a regular mixed-age class or attending one of our specialist "babies" classes- (currently only offered in Pleasanton Thursdays 11.15.

Do I have to purchase the Cds and songbook every semester?  

YES. The Cds, songbook, parent guide DVD and musical growth chart are all part of the service fee payable by Music Together Tri-Valley to Music Together® LLC and is included in the price of your child's semester. At Walnut Creek city classes where the service fee is separated out and payable to a Music Together staff member on first day of class, it is mandatory and not optional to buy the materials.
